A Day-on-day profile of a trial site within the TOTAL portfolio shows the impact of improved control on all equipment including heating, lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration and peripheral facilites such as staff areas and public WCs. Comparing before and after profiles, one week apart, shows a saving of 24% on a single site.
Through constant monitoring and web-based control of the sites Evolve is able to not only identify immediate consumption reductions but also clearly identify changes in site control strategies that deliver repeatable benefits. Work on this trial site began on the 25th of the month and the impact is immediately clear from the daily energy profiles.
As a result of the trial site successes TOTAL has begun to roll out across their estate of Managed and Franchised facilities of 500+ sites throughout the UK and is assessing the opportunities within their Global estate of 17,500 properties.
